OYA International School is separated into two sections (Arabic and English). The English section has a completely distinct study and testing system than the Arabic section, which is governed by the Ministry of Education.
OYA International School (English Department)
The school launched in 2023 with certification from the Libyan state’s Ministry of Free Education and utilized British and the American curriculums in teaching as well as international cadres trained to teach and with excellent credentials. The institution offers a huge theater for cultural events, contests, student gatherings, and clerks for all scientific needs. For physical activity, the school also includes football, basketball, and volleyball courts. The school also has a cafeteria where housekeeping lessons are held, as well as an indoor swimming pool that is open all year. The school provides a clinic where kids’ health is monitored. The institution also supplied pupils with convenient transportation.
OYA International School (Arabic section)
The Arabic Department and the English Department share the above-mentioned school building and school facilities, as well as some administrative offices, but the Arabic Department differs from the English Department in that the former follows the Ministry’s curriculum while the latter adds additional classes (English language, British curriculum, computer, and other activities). The English Department, which has both international and local accreditations, uses a British curriculum (Macmilan) to teach the majority of the study courses, with the Arabic language and Islamic education subjects from the Ministry’s curriculum serving as support subjects.
